This is a great tutorial that the University of Auckland has created to show students how to use the catalogue. They wanted it to be student centred rather than library centred and they wanted to get students envolved in its development.

I just wanted to put in a plug for this book. I have recently been customising my other tumblr page and I found this book such a good way of learning about HTML and CSS.
The Sophie project provides downloadable software that enables you to create multimedia ‘books’. There is a video on the site that gives an idea of the possiblities. For libraries it might be a good way to publish content such as local history or information literacy.
This is an interesting site for Librarians who work in educational institutions. It allows you to publish lesson plans and resources for others to use.
This is an open source library management system. Their website lets you try the system out with a couple of demo systems and also links to several real library catalogues that use the system.
This search engine lets you search with google, yahoo or msn. It starts searching as soon as you start typing which could save you some time or help if spelling isn’t your thing. More likely it will just spend time finding things you don’t want until you have typed your entire equiry.
